A BBQ MUSIC TEXAS EXPERIENCE

We call Troubadour Festival a Texas BBQ & Music Experience for good reason: Troubadour Festival is the largest barbecue and country music festival in Texas. Between its two locations in Celina and Bryan, Troubadour Festival brings in dozens of the best barbecue joints from across the Lone Star State as well as premier names in Texas Country, Red Dirt, and Southern Rock music. Barbecue sampling consists of as much as you can handle from 30 of the best BBQ joints in Texas (thus, the world), and live music happening on two stages for 11 hours. It makes for the ultimate Texas BBQ & Music Experience all in one day. We hope to see you March 28 in Bryan!

FESTIVAL BAG POLICY

We have four different ticket levels (Music, BBQ + Music, VIP, and VIP+) that are priced differently. Click here to see the breakdown on each ticket.

All attendees (except for VIP+ ticket-holders and those needing handicap accessible parking) will park and shuttle to Midtown Park. Check back soon for information.

Absolutely. We will have some seating areas throughout the park, but if you want a guaranteed place to sit, we definitely recommend bringing a chair (only basic folding chairs, please). Please be mindful of signage showing where chairs are not allowed in various areas.

Yep! As long as you keep your festival wristband on, you can come and go from the festival.

We’re glad you asked. Scroll up to see Prohibited items. If it’s not listed, it’s likely allowed in.

Anyone with a BBQ + Music, VIP or VIP+ ticket will have access to samples from all the participating barbecue joints during the festival until 3:15 PM. Gate time will depend on your ticket (12:00 for VIP and VIP+, 1:00 for BBQ + Music). NEW: Our BBQ joints will be cooking to five different themes in 2026: Meat Church & Friends, Beef, Hogs Wild, South of the Border BBQ, and Wild Card. Pro-tips: Arrive EARLY and bring your appetite.

We are no longer allowing outside trays to be brought in to the festival. We will have a limited number of disposable trays for sale at the front gate and festival merch booth for $5. This is an effort to curb huge amounts of waste and oversized trays brought in at previous events. Also, the best time to eat a BBQ sample is as soon as you get it so it’s hot and fresh!

Troubadour Festival is not a competition or cook-off. This is an event that celebrates the best in Texas barbecue and our restaurants love to share that with our attendees without the pressure of a competition.

VIP and VIP+ entry is 12:00 PM, BBQ + Music entry is 1:00 PM, and Music entry is at 3:15 PM. You can arrive any time before to wait in line before gate time. Pro-tip: Get there early, especially for BBQ!

You can see the set times for each artist on this page.

If the festival does not sell out, there will be a limited number of tickets sold at the gate at a higher price than online. So, it’s definitely better to buy in advance.

Yes, there will be multiple bars in both the general admission and VIP areas of the festival. Anyone who drinks must have a 21 and up age-verified wristband on at all times. Anyone found drinking without a proper wristband or drinking underage will be removed from the event and possibly arrested.

Breastfeeding mothers can bring items necessary to pump into the venue (pump, small soft-sided cooler, ice packs, cover, etc.). Please check these items with security and note we are not responsible for loss or damage to any items brought inside. Once inside, you may visit the Medical tent where they can assist you if you need to pump.

All bars are now cashless at Troubadour Festival. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the front gate (if tickets are available), festival and band merchandise tents, and all vendors unless specified otherwise.

No. If you are looking to pay with cash, please bring enough with you.

If you are at the festival, please visit the front gate for any lost or found items. If you are seeking a lost item after the festival, send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll try to help.
